Read →We assess and treat the full range of pelvic floor conditions, pelvic pain, constipation, incontinence, sexual dysfunction, pain with intercourse, chronic pelvic pain from prostatitis, prolapse, and more. One-on-one, evidence-based, and deeply human.
Many pelvic floor conditions go untreated because people assume they're normal, inevitable, or embarrassing to discuss. They're not. Effective treatment exists.
Leakage with cough, urgency, exercise, or at night. Highly treatable with the right assessment.
Pressure, heaviness, or a bulging sensation. Physiotherapy and pessary support can significantly reduce symptoms.
Chronic pelvic, hip, or tailbone pain, painful intercourse, or muscle tension that won't resolve.
Pelvic girdle pain, birth preparation, postpartum recovery, scar care, and safe return to exercise.
Our physiotherapists hold full PT licensure and specialized post-graduate pelvic health training, including certification for internal assessment in BC, when such examination is appropriate to suggest as an option to the patient. That combination gives us the possibility to treat the pelvic floor as part of the whole body.
Because the pelvic floor interacts with every movement affecting posture, breathing, and core strength, expert pelvic physiotherapy can influence muscle function more profoundly than interventions targeting other isolated structures. Our holistic approach often leads to transformative improvements in mobility, strength, and quality of life.
We take time to understand your symptoms, medical history, bladder and bowel habits, lifestyle, and goals. Nothing is off-limits or embarrassing, we hear it every day.
We assess posture, breathing, hip mobility, and abdominal function. With your consent, this may include external and internal pelvic floor assessment to evaluate tone, strength, and coordination.
Before you leave, you'll understand what's contributing to your symptoms, what treatment involves, realistic timelines, and your home program. No guesswork.
